Presidential campaigns are stressful, and candidates often deal with immense pressure.

The Florida governor lost his cool when a reporter questioned why he was not taking questions from New Hampshire voters.

After his first political event, Ron DeSantis yelled twice at the reporter before lashing out, "Are you blind?"

DeSantis addressed over 100 visitors at a Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Laconia.

The Florida governor became obviously angry when Steve Peoples of The Associated Press asked why he was not taking audience questions like most presidential candidates do in this state.

"What are you talking about? Are you blind? Are you blind? People are coming up to me, talking to me whatever they want to talk to me about," DeSantis said.

DeSantis stopped to shake hands and pose for pictures with several individuals on his way out of the VFW hall. He did not respond to questions from his podium so that the entire audience of voters could hear him.

Some Republicans who came to hear DeSantis speak were surprised and irritated by him.

Vikram Mansharamani, who waged an unsuccessful bid for the GOP Senate nomination in New Hampshire last year, said, "We like to hear from candidates, and we have questions of our own [as] citizens here in the state."

Mansharamani commended DeSantis for addressing issues that matter to voters, but when given the Florida governor's speech on video afterward, he claimed it wasn't what he had hoped to see.

The Never Back Down PAC, established to assist DeSantis's presidential campaign, also tweeted the same video of DeSantis, saying he "SHUTS DOWN fake news reporter."

The governor was "surrounded" by New Hampshire voters who were asking him questions and posing for selfies, according to

DeSantis press secretary Bryan Griffin defended the Florida governor, saying that the reporter asked questions to DeSantis while he was "surrounded" by New Hampshire voters.
