West Chester University is welcoming new leaders to departments across campus. With 11 years of experience at WCU, Cheryl Neale-McFall was recently appointed the new associate provost for research and creative activities for the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, a position she has served in an interim capacity since August 2022. In Neale-McFall’s tenure as interim associate provost, the university has seen tremendous growth and excitement around faculty and student research and funding, raising WCU’s funding award growth from $5.11 million (internal and external) to $10.96 million in external funding alone. Neale-McFall has helped bring nearly $5 million in grant funding to WCU as a faculty member. She focuses her research efforts on job satisfaction, supporting students and underserved populations, and women’s leadership in academia.
