Asylum Tour: The History of Central State Hospital

In this episode, Tommy and I, along with our friends, take the paid trolley tour around the campus of Central State Hospital before setting off on our own discovery. This 2,500 acre complex once was home to Georgia's only asylum, formerly called; The Lunatic, Idiot and Epileptic Asylum. Now abandoned by the state, the rambling multistoried buildings are crumbling and most are irreparably damaged. A draw to history buffs and ruin porn lovers alike, touring the campus doesn't disappoint, but remember trespassing carries a tune of $10k and a felony if convicted.
