More Page County residents eligible for free health care Eligibility for Page Free Clinic services has changed from 200% federal poverty level to 300% federal poverty level. This means more Page County adults without health insurance may receive care. Fairview Grocery changing hands Recently, the operators of Fairview Market and Deli announced that their lease will expire at the end of July. On July 5, Daisy’s Country Cravings Market and Deli announced (via their Facebook page) that they will be assuming ownership of the grocery, with new meal options and additional seating planned. Bistro coming to Luray Harrisonburg-based LOCAL Chop & Grill House has purchased the former Moonshadows restaurant (132 East Main Street) in Luray with plans to open The Chop House Bistro. ABC license application information was recently (publicly) posted. Menu offerings are expected to have a southern flair, with vegan and vegetarian options available. Dollar Tree (finally) returning There’s been recent activity at the much-missed Dollar Tree in Luray. A new building permit has been posted and workers were seen delivering shelving and other related hardware to the East Luray Shopping Center store. Rumor has it the store will reopen late July or early August.
