Popeye's Restaurant Is Coming To Danville, Virginia

A Popeye's restaurant was rumored to be coming to Danville, Virginia, in 2020. But right now, that dream is becoming a reality. It has been confirmed, and work has been going on in front of the former K-Mart on Riverside Drive for weeks.

Both Popeye's and Chik-fil-a lovers will benefit from this. Even though the Chik-fil-a on Riverside Drive has three lanes open for service, it might be much quicker now that locals have another option for savoring chicken sandwiches. Brighton, a delighted local, exclaimed, "Finally, somewhere to go for chicken on Sundays!" when we chatted with him.

In the last ten years, Danville, Virginia, has expanded quickly. With the new Caesars Virginia being constructed in Danville at the intersection of West Main Street and Bishop Road, the area is expected to expand considerably more quickly. By the end of 2024, the massive casino and its 500-room adjoining hotel should be finished.

According to Star News TV, construction is underway next to Popeye's for a new car wash. The newest car wash on Piney Forest Road, which has since changed its name from Lighting McClean to Zips Car Wash, is busy up until 8 p.m. every evening, when it closes. With the opening of this new car wash, local motorists may have more hours to wash their vehicles after 8 p.m.

The precise date of Popeyes' grand opening is unknown, but work on the location is progressing swiftly. The new Popeye's will probably open by the end of this Fall if construction proceeds at the current pace.
