Joe Biden Surprises America With Big Announcement

President Joe Biden recently made a big announcement from the White House in Washington, D.C. about lowering healthcare costs for Americans. "On too many nights, too many Americans lie in bed staring at the ceiling worrying what will happen if their spouse gets seriously ill," he said. "Do they have enough insurance? Will they have to — will they have to — how are they going to pay their medical bills? Will they have to sell their home?"

"But the rate of Americans without health insurance is at an all-time low," Joe Biden continued. "Premiums for coverage under the Affordable Care Act are $800 less per person than before I took office. And that’s Bidenomics."

"In my State of the Union Address," said Joe Biden, "I outlined our fight to end junk fees — the hidden charges for companies who seek — sneak into your bills things that you don’t think you’re going to pay for. Each year, those junk fees cost hundreds of dollars a month for tens of billion — for tens of billions of dollars, weighing on — down family budgets and making it harder for people to pay their bills."

"Over the past few months, my administration has cracked down on junk fees across different industries: banking, hotels, concerts, tickets, airlines, cable, Internet — and the Internet. And today I’m pleased to announce that we’re making some progress on healthcare."

"My administration is cracking down on junk fees for health insurance plans that are like the ones that are inexpensive but too often stick consumers with hidden fees," said the President. "Insurance companies will be required to provide a clear disclaimer upfront about what’s covered and what is not covered, instead of burying it in fine print."

Millions of Americans around the country are in medical debt, according to data published by CNBC. "Overall, an estimated 41% of people — or about 100 million adults — face medical debt, ranging from under $500 to $10,000 or more."

Texas recently introduced new laws to reduce the cost of healthcare. According to The Texas Tribune, "Two House priorities related to women’s health passed both chambers. The first comes via Senate Bill 379, which eliminates sales tax on diapers, menstrual supplies and many pregnancy-related supplies. The other priority was the successful extension of Medicaid coverage for moms, from two months to a year after childbirth."

Over in California, progress is being made to reduce healthcare bills. Governor Newsom wants California to become the first state to achieve universal access to healthcare coverage. He also wants to reduce the cost of insulin and make healthcare more affordable for everyone living in the state.

He is stupid. My rates went up. But everything else went up with him. He cannot tell the truth.
