Seahawks Training Days and Football Fest

    2023-07-23

The Seattle Seahawks kick off training camp on July 26, 2023, and the public is invited to attend. They’ll be getting ready for the first game of the season, which takes place at home on September 10th. They’ll be playing the St. Louis Rams.

The first training session starts at 1:30 pm at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, and there will be a variety of activities offered. The Seahawks Dancers and Blue Thunder will be in attendance, there will be a giveaway of sunglasses, music will be in the air, and food trucks will be available. At the end of the practice, an autographed football toss takes place.

Most of that is standard at the open training camps, but there are also some special themed days. The Kids Day on August 1st includes inflatables, face painting, balloon animal artists, a dunk tank, and much more.

One of the training days is already on waitlist status, so signing up sooner rather than later is a good idea. Available days are:

July 26 – Welcome Back Football

    August 1 – Kids Day

    August 3 – Mascot Mayhem

August 8 – Legends and Military Appreciation

August 13 – College and Alumni Day

    August 16 – Kids Day

In addition to the training camps, the team is holding a special Football Fest at Lumen Field on August 4th.

While attending training camp is free, there is a transportation charge of $16. All guests are required to park at The Renton Landing and take a shuttle to the athletic center, and you’ll need to register online to receive your transportation voucher. The team is enforcing the clear bag policy. Be sure to read all of FAQs for important attendance information.
