Nicki Minaj is first female Operator in Call of Duty Season 5

Nicki Minaj, famed artist, celeb, and entrepreneur, will be featured and noted as the first female celebrity Operator in "Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 2", Activision announced on July 27th.

This will be an eventful release making it a "50 Years of Hip Hop Celebration" in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2, Celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, and Snoop Dogg will be featured as playable Operators. The game developers have advised that Minaj's character in the game will be a "Red Ruby Da Sleaze" rather than her usual "Chill Nicki" persona.

Nicki was featured in a Call of Duty promotional video for the game's pre-order in 2022, titled "Squad Up", showcasing the Minaj alongside notable athletes, artists, and actors such as Lil Baby, Bukayo Saka, and Pete Davidson.

According to a tweet by Rapper Cardi B on September 27, 2022, she claimed, that she fumbled a multi-million dollar Call of Duty contract due to a recent legal case.

"My stupid decisions from the past caused me to miss out on money now," Cardi B said. "I had a multi-million dollar Call of Duty deal on the table that I couldn’t take because of court. Guys think twice about those quick decisions! Lesson learned."

Confirmed reports suggest that Minaj will have a custom Barbie-pink assault rifle, seen in her promotion picture, available in a special store bundle within season 5 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2.

World-renowned artists and celebrities like 21 Savage and Snoop Dogg will be joining the squad as playable Operators alongside Nicki Minaj, which will continue to enhance the gaming experience.

Warzone is set to launch on August 2 at 9 AM PT across all platforms.
