    What to Expect at the New 75,000 SF Buc-ee's in Huber Heights

    Huber Heights, Ohio. - Ohio's first Buc-ee’s travel center is anticipated to break ground soon in Huber Heights Ohio, but first, the city must approve a Basic Development Plan before moving forward.

    Mayor Jeff Gore of Huber Heights, Ohio, took to social media to express his excitement at the recent announcement of Buc-ee's coming to his city. He stated The rumors you have heard are TRUE! The very first BUC-EE’S in the state of Ohio is coming to Huber Heights. It will be at the intersection of 235 and 70 in the northeast corner. Yes this is in Huber Heights, not New Carlisle or Park Layne. Representatives from Buc-ee’s will be at the planning commission meeting on Tuesday August 15th. You won’t have to drive to Kentucky now to get your beef jerky and brisket sandwiches! Welcome to Huber Heights Buc-ee’s 😊 We’re happy to have you!!

    Aaron K. Sorrell, City Planner sent out the Informal Review to the Huber Heights City Planning Commission that details the plans for Buc-ees that can be found here.

    The City Planner wants to ensure the site is compatible with their sanitary sewer lift station as well as noting that they've been working with ODOT on the necessary improvements that may be required along SR-235 to accommodate the increase in traffic. It also states that the remaining three parcels must be rezoned to PC, and City Council must approve a Basic Development Plan for this project to move forward.
