Nestled inside the building that once housed Capitol Grocery at 701 Spanish Town Road in Baton Rouge, "Belli" of the Bird is more than just a restaurant. It's a bodega AND a community center. Open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, the day is started with delicious River Road Coffee, Beignets, Baked Goods, and Smoothies.

Lunch specials are served Monday through Friday.

Monday

• Red Beans and Rice, served with a choice of green onion rice or cauliflower rice
• Sausage
• Side Salad

Tuesday

• Carnitas Tacos served on corn tortillas (3), topped with cilantro, white onion, and house jalapeno sauce
• Side Salad

Wednesday

• Lasagna (Noodles or Zucchini)
• Side Salad

Thursday

• Pot Roast with carrots, potatoes, onions, and garlic
• Choice of green onion rice or cauliflower rice
• Side Salad

Friday

• Shrimp Etouffee
• Choice of green onion rice or cauliflower rice

Belli hosts community events five nights a week and on Saturday mornings.

• On Monday nights, a Blues Jam happens from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
• Flabingo happens on Tuesday nights from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Every Wednesday is Art Night from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Thursdays are set aside for Networking from 6:00 PM to 8 PM.
• Friday is Trivia Night from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
• It's time for Yoga and Meditation on Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 10 AM
