LSU Loses to Ole Miss: Upset Fans Want Coach Fired

In the final quarter of an extremely tense game, Ole Miss upset LSU 55-49. The loss put LSU at #7 according to SEC Power Rankings. Ole Miss moved up to #5, just below #4 Alabama. Georgia is currently at #1.

It is a long-standing tradition at LSU that if the football team loses ranking, changes need to be made, and die-hard Tiger fans start at the top. Those fans took to social media to express their interest in having Tiger Coach Brian Kelly fired.

"This is not at all what we were promised!" one fan stated on X post-Saturday night. "I want LSU to hurry up and fire Brian Kelly," another stated. "I won't watch another game until Brian Kelly is dismissed," was also declared. There is even an X page titled Fire Brian Kelly.

"They lifted that man up to the sky like he was Jesus, letting him know they were gonna put him on the cross right there," Sportscaster Robert Griffin III commented when several Ole Miss defensive players swarmed the LSU quarterback and picked him up, as the referees blew their whistles to signal the end of the play.

The fans aren't having it. The Tigers play unbeaten Missouri in the city of Columbia next Saturday night.
