    Deutsches Haus brings Oktoberfest, Germany’s biggest and most beloved celebration to the New Orleans for 3 fun-filled weekends of German culture and cuisine that includes authentic German foods, live music, dances, and activities for the whole family.

    Oktoberfest in New Orleans will be held on October 13th-14th, October 20th-21st, and October 27th-28th at Bayou St. John across from City Park in New Orleans.

    The mission of the Deutsches Haus is to inspire Gemütlichkeit and celebrate and foster the rich culture, music, heritage, language, and history of the German people.

    At this year's Oktoberfest, there will be a wide varity of German food including brats, sauerkraut, schnitzel, large Bavarian-style pretzels and a selection of German cheeses and desserts. Plus over 20 different German beers, 12 different wines and over 20 different schnapps. here will also be a Schnauzer Strut dog parade and costume content and a 6k run/walk at the historic Fairgrounds Racetrack.

    Admission to Oktoberfest is just $10 at the gate, cash only and children 11 and under are free.
