    Since the year 2000, this county in Maryland has experienced a total of 21 tornadoes, which averages to approximately 5.88 tornadoes per 100 square miles. In national rankings, this county stands at the 57th position for tornado occurrences. As of May 31 this year, there have been no reported tornadoes in the area.
