However, this area of high pressure has placed a tight pressure gradient force over the area. This force is the reason for the breezy winds. Those wind speeds are expected to remain in the mid to upper teens and at times in the twenties through Thursday.</p><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><p>By the end of the week, the area of high pressure will drift slightly more south, this could help weaken that pressure force and lower wind speeds down to the lower teens and possibly below 10 mph at times. Fortunately, with this high pressure in place, rain chances remain very slim through the end of the work week and into the beginning of the weekend. Temperatures will also hold steady with highs in the upper 80s and lower in the upper 60s. </p><p>A frontal boundary will move near the end of the weekend and into next week, this will increase moisture and return the rain chances into the forecast. However, the chance still looks relatively slim. As that front ushers east the ridge of high pressure and stronger winds will shift over to the Atlantic. This will give us a break from the winds.
