Allegedly under the impression they were supposed to be working on their relationship, Berrien successfully used her law enforcement laptop to run the car’s tag and find out who was parked in front of the house.<nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate>Berrien then sent several text messages to her ex-boyfriend, saying that she hoped the two were enjoying themselves, the investigation revealed. Furthermore, the deputy said she was foolish for thinking the two could continue their relationship.When confronted by investigators, Berrien allegedly told them, “Did I run her tag? One-hundred percent I did.”There was no evidence that the deputy ever contacted the woman. In the end, she got a one-day suspension.Barrien was suspended for two additional days for another incident where she got into a physical fight with a woman at a house party. Although the investigation concluded she was defending herself, she was suspended for not telling her supervisors.</div></body>
