Tim Scott made the surprising announcement on "Sunday Night in America w/ Trey Gowdy." Though with the recent struggle for South Carolina's senators' polls, just a few days after the third Republican primary debate, in which he seemed to fail to make any breakthrough, his decision may not be surprising to many.

Campaign spokesperson Nathan Brand has confirmed the news as accurate and Tim Scott's official resignation from the presidential campaign.

Tim Scott is the only black Republican in the Senate. He first announced his intention to run in May of 2023. He entered the race with more cash than any of the other Republican candidates, but failed to find his place in a line of work thats been shadowed by former Republican President Donald Trump.

During Scotts third debate, he closed with a statement that said, "cultural and spiritual crisis was growing in the nation." As well as. "America needs a great awakening." "we should reject the left valueless faithless fatherless society. We should turn back to faith, patriotism and individual responsibility. We should stop choosing victimhood and start choosing victory. We should stop kneeling in protest and start kneeling in prayer,” he continued. “There are basic truths that built this country. If you’re able-bodied in America, you work. If you take that loan, you pay it back. If you commit a violent crime, you go to jail. And if God made you a man, you play sports against men.”

According to Scott, "us together to win the war for our Christian conservative values," was a quote refering to not winning against Joe Biden, but working along with him.

Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis who is also running for the Republican nomination, praised Scott this Sunday evening, stating, "hes a strong conservative with bold ideas about how to get our country back on track." And "I respect his courage to run this campaign and thank him for his service to America and the U.S. Senate,” DeSantis said. “I look forward to Tim continuing to be a leader in our party for years to come.”

One can only assume the numbers for support is what caused Scott to back out, but onto greater things Sir.
