I was raised in Lee's summit and went to middle school attached to the original high school. and to see what Douglas Street that use to be 2 lane road out to the Jackson County hospital. I remember the only thing to do was the bowling alley on 50 hwy or Pappi's pizza. now there tearing so much down and all the huge apartments .

Too bad they can't find a way to make it a Historical Landmark, then they can't move it or anything. I'm so sorry this happens. I would much rather see land with wildlife and nature than more development!
