Louisiana Festival & Events Happening this Weekend: November 23 through November 26

It's time to work off all the holiday feasting by going out and enjoying a festival.

Now that all the leftover turkey has been dealt with, it's time to relax and have some fun. These are all the festivals and events taking place November 22 - 26.

Rockets Over the Red Fireworks Festival - Bossier City - November 25

Christmas music, Santa Claus, food trucks, and fireworks highlight the Rockets Over the Red fireworks festival on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The festival can be enjoyed on either side of the Red River at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City or Riverview Park in Shreveport.

The Christmas tree lights up at 6:00 PM and the fireworks/light show begins at 7:15 PM.

Christmas in Roseland - Shreveport - November 24 through December 23

For the next month, guests can indulge in the spirit of Christmas at the American Rose Center in Shreveport. Christmas in Roseland begins on Friday, November 24, and runs through Saturday, December 23.

Fireworks happen every Saturday in December. Photos with Santa will be taken every night from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Ride the Roseland Express mini train, make s'mores, roast marshmallows, and more.

Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 5:30-10 PM, Nov. 24-Dec. 17 and then every night Dec. 18-23. Tickets are $10 per person; and $30 for a family of four.
