The FDA discovered in February of 2022 that a Family Dollar warehouse in West Memphis was infested with rats and that rodent droppings inside the warehouse were "too numerous to count". The discovery, ultimately leading to the closure of the warehouse, caused more than 400 stores across several states, including in the all three Mid-South states, to temporarily shut down. If you live in any of the states mentioned above and purchased anything from a Family Dollar in those states between January 1, 2020 and February 18, 2022, you are included in a class action settlement and could be eligible for the $25 gift card if you apply for it by January 9, 2024.
