Kirk Herbstreit Announced Significant Personal News Following 'College GameDay'

Following College GameDay's final broadcast of the regular season on Saturday ahead of Army-Navy, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit revealed some exciting news on social media.

In a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) this afternoon, the college football personality announced that the Herbstreit household will soon be adding another family member.

Herbstreit is adding another puppy to the mix.

"My man during the show. He’s ready to get on the plane. Only problem…haven’t told him yet…I’m picking up another golden puppy (from our same breeder). Ben is gonna be pissed. It means another youngin ol Ben is gonna have to raise and pass on his majestic wisdom. Stay tuned," Herbstreit shared.

Herbstreit's dog, Ben, went viral during multiple parts of the 2023 season.

The football world simply couldn't get enough - and with a new puppy on the way, fans are already excited for what might be in store next fall.
