In 2023, some international companies have invested in Florida with new facilities and jobs. Examples are Bauducco and Cosentino Group, as just a few examples.

And a recent announcement means that there is one more example to add to the list because an international company is building a new facility on Florida's Space Coast and bringing jobs as well.

About Dassault Falcon Jet: A subsidiary of France's Dassault Aviation, Dassault Falcon Jet manufactures customized private aircraft with a "French flair," according to the company's website.

Aero Affaires.com writes that the Falcon family of jets have:

"high engineering standards and are at the cutting edge of technology. They are highly sought-after, iconic models in the private aviation sector."

The Florida Facility: According to Florida Today reporting in November 2023, Dassault Falcon Jet is building a 228,568 square feet, $115 million facility at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport.

Florida Today reports that the facility will perform maintenance and refurbishments on Falcon's aircraft.

According to WFTV reporting in November of 2023, the facility is expected to bring 400 jobs with an annual wage of $86,000. The facility is expected to be operational by 2025.

According to data from the website of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida added 25,900 jobs in October of 2023 and has welcomed 2.7 million new businesses since 2019.

According to Best Places, the city of Melbourne, Florida has had 10.1% job growth in the last 10 years.
