Texas Police Identifying the Person Where Pregnant Teen and Her Boyfriend Were Found Dead

According to police in San Antonio, two people were seen on surveillance video near where the bodies of a pregnant girl and her boyfriend were found earlier this week. They are being sought.

Teenagers Savannah Soto (18) and Matthew Guerra (22) went missing last Saturday. On Tuesday, police said they found two bodies that matched their descriptions in a car parked near an apartment complex in San Antonio. The bodies had been there for "a few days," according to the cops.

The male victim was named as Guerra by the medical examiner, who said he died from a gunshot wound to the head. The pregnant woman who was also shot and killed has not been officially named, but San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said Thursday that they were sure the body belonged to Soto.

According to the Leon Valley Police Department, Soto was pregnant and past her due date when she missed a very important medical visit and her family called the police to report her missing. "The killings are being looked into as a capital murder case," he said.

Thursday, police shared surveillance video of two people driving two different cars and asked the public to help them figure out who they were.

In the video, a dark-colored pickup truck comes to a stop in a parking lot, and then a silver Kia Optima comes up from behind to stop next to it. The video then shows that someone gets out of the pickup truck, walks over to the Kia, and talks to the driver before going back to the pickup truck.

This is the same Optima that was used by the victims and that was used to find Soto and Guerra. McManus said the video was taken a few days before the bodies were found.

The video makes it hard to see what the people are doing. He said that the cops think the man in the truck was "doing something to wipe the side of the car," but he wasn't sure. The chief said, "We're hoping that someone can identify the people who are seen in this video."
