    Mardi Gras season begins this weekend, and that means king cakes are available. Here's where you can find them in Baton Rouge.

    The Ambrosia Bakery

    Ambrosia Bakery offers the following king cakes:

    • Traditional
    • Filled with or without cream cheese
    • Pecan praline with caramel topping
    • Zulu king cake loaded with coconut, cream cheese, chocolate morsels and topped with chocolate icing, cinnamon, and sugar
    • Fresh strawberry
    • Valentine's Day king cake

    Ambrosia Bakery is open Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sundays.

    Rouse's Supermarkets

    Rouse's offers both traditional and filled king cakes. Fillings include:

    Caladro's Supermarkets are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week.

    Gambino's Bakery

    Gambino's Bakery offers their king cakes all year long! Baked fresh every day, you can have king cake whenever you want it.
