NYC School Turns to Migrant Haven, Leaving Students Out

    2024-01-11
    • Students of James Madison High School were required to attend classes remotely to make room for migrants.
    • The relocation was a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the migrants due to the forecast of high winds and storms.
    • The move has elicited mixed responses, including criticism from local residents and concerns over resource allocation.

In a recent development in New York City, thousands of students from James Madison High School in Brooklyn were displaced to accommodate nearly 2,000 migrants.

The migrants, previously housed at Floyd Bennett Field, were moved due to the threat of a severe storm. This decision has sparked varied reactions among local residents, city officials, and public figures.

The migrants began their evacuation from Floyd Bennett Field before 5 p.m., and the school's transition to remote learning was announced shortly after. Videos of migrants entering the high school without the standard face scan required for students were circulated online, raising questions about security measures.

Local residents expressed frustration and concern over the displacement of students and the impact on their education. One resident, identified as Rob, described the situation as a "litmus test," using a legitimate weather threat to experiment with large-scale relocations.

City Hall issued a statement referring to the migrants as "guests" and emphasized the temporary nature of their stay at the high school. The statement highlighted the priority given to the health and safety of the migrants.

Councilwoman Inna Vernikov, among other officials, criticized the decision, citing the strain on law enforcement and the disruption caused to students' routines. The situation at Floyd Bennett Field and the subsequent relocation to James Madison High School reflect ongoing challenges in managing the influx of migrants in New York City and the strain on public resources and infrastructure.

students, kids, youth HAVE TO learn that in Jose Biden's Northern Mexico ( formerly known as USA) illegals come first. illegals are elite in this country, they are privileged. students need to learn from early years that USA citizens'duty is to care and support illegals. keep denying reality and vote blue because you blue voters still refuse to see it. you get what you vote for.
