ky is one of the worst state with animal laws. everyone knows that. shelters are full, rescues full, workers haggard. that being said the shelter was in the wrong. They were responsible for these animals lives and their deaths. To say well once they leave the property they arent ours. Wrong. you gave them to a volunteer, a basic citizen, thats different from a vet, organization etc. Carcasses, teeth, thats not someone coming back to bury an animal. Whoever allowed this at the shelter should be held accountable. I am not calling for anyone's job but this one wasn't done properly

It’s just a dead animal, let it decay. The bugs and other animals will nourish themselves from the unneeded body of the dead.
