Although we have our favorite campgrounds and campsites in New Hampshire, we try to find new and special places to stay every summer.</p><p>Well, one just got added to my list: the oldest campground in New Hampshire.</p><p>This is Camp Tippicanoe. Often referred to as New Hampshire's oldest campground, it's located on the site of the oldest YMCA camp in New Hampshire, according to an Only in Your State <a href="https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/new-hampshire/oldest-campground-nh/">article</a>.</p><p>Camp Tippicanoe opened in 1911 and is still open for business today. The amenities are much newer now, but this is the old dining hall for the YMCA program that took place there.</p><p>Now privately owned, you can find Camp Tippicanoe at 1295 Brook Road in Goshen, NH, 03752, according to Only in Your State.</p><p>Camp Tippicanoe has RV, tent camping, and seasonal camping options too.</p><p>And there's one reason it has stayed popular: it is beautiful. Located on Lake Tippicanoe is a spring-fed pond. It is also a mere minutes from Lake Sunapee.</p><p>Camp Tippicanoe seems like a perfect family campground with rich New Hampshire history.
