Texas Governor Greg Abbott's Passes Law Against Illegal Immigration: Impact on Locals

TEXAS- Americans want illegal immigrants out of the country or at least most do according to a USA Today/ Suffolk Poll. Illegal entry into the States from Mexico to the US through Texas was already a known problem.

Current President Joe Biden has voiced against strict border policies to maintain the foundation principles of the US being a compassionate country that is the “land of the free”.

The government of Biden believes in giving refuge to the suffering ones who are not accepted by the world. Legal immigration to the US from all over the world is already one of the highest in numbers.

Counting the illegal immigrants, the pressure on the governments to provide resources is increasing every day.

It is taking a toll on the overall economy as there is already so much unemployment, and debt and the fact that the US citizens are finding it hard to survive in an already competitive environment.

To safeguard the citizens of Texas State after years of appealing to the court, Governor Gregg Abbott has finally passed a law against illegal immigrants entering through Texas. It makes illegal immigration or illegal entry into Texas a State crime.

In a letter shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Biden has urged to stop this legislation from coming into effect. According to Biden, such a law is a clear violation of the U.S. Constitution.

Some Texas folks seem to be disheartened by the inhuman treatment given to these immigrants.

They seem to be sleeping in tents in the cold with no food or water. Some folks even reached out to provide some relief and donations to these people. On the other hand, some Texas folks are angry about such an entry into their homeland.

They have clearly stated they will not help these illegal immigrants and they don’t care if anything happens.

In the midst of all this, the people with no homeland left to turn to are suffering in the coldest of winters. Many might not make it alive past a few days if the conditions remain.
