Border Convoy: God's Army or "Hate Magnet"?

    2024-02-03

A news article warns the Texas Border Convoy is a "hate magnet" for the extreme right. The "Take Our Borders Back" Convoy website declares they are "exercising our rights before God... calling upon Americans to pray and join the convoy peacefully."

    -Who's right?

On the Texas Border, Sheriffs are providing escorts to "God's Army:"

On the Arizona Border, Law Enforcement Officers say they "are committed to maintaining public safety as our number one priority:"

Meanwhile, the Border Convoy rolls through San Antonio:

After an earlier stop in Dripping Springs, Texas where a reporter estimated attendees to number more than 1,000:

The stop included a rally keynoted by Sarah Palin and entertainment by Ted Nugent:

From Dripping Springs the convoy heads to its final stop on the Texas-Mexico Border: Quemado (in Maverick County).

Media Matters for America which Wikipedia describes as a "left-leaning media watchdog group" characterizes the “Take Our Border Back” convoy as "organized by election deniers and anti-vaxxers."

Despite the criticism, the convoy has grown in size since leaving for the Texas border on Monday from Virginia Beach.

It absolutely is a hate campaign and trump and Abbott are to blame for this shit storm. Abbott has surpassed trump as the most EVIL person in the country.

A god who wrote down 10 commandments, and one of them was "Love your neighbor as yourself" wouldn't have an army.
