J.M. Biggs: We must start winning souls for Christ

As we are living in the last of the last days, this world is in a state of emergency.

Before 2024 is over, on average, at least 2.5 million people will leave this earth in death worldwide. The question that I ask is where will their souls end up?

There are only two choices. There is heaven, where there will be everlasting love and goodness. Then there is hell, where there will be everlasting horrors and hopelessness. This is where the church comes in.

Every blood-bought child of God has a job to do. Each job is unique to the son of God. Sadly, a lot of God’s church has become selfish and has fallen away. The Bible speaks of a great falling away happening in these last days.

The ones who refuse to give up their relationship with the lord will be greatly persecuted. It will be the church (the ones that have fallen away) that will be the persecutors. Some will use their mouths like a machete to hack you to pieces.

Those people are going to receive swift judgment. The part of God’s church that has fallen away — we are not supposed to just forget about them. We are to greatly pray for them because some can be converted.

The Bible declares: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” 1 Timothy 4:1-2.

Know this also: “In the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:1-7.

I know, from some of the persecution that we are receiving, a lot of us want to just give up. Where will we go? What will we do? The race is not given to the swift nor the strong, but he that endures to the end. No cross, no crown!

It has gotten to the point that we must be willing to die for Christ’s sake. Even though some of us will brutally suffer in this life, in the life to come it will be well worth it. Don’t ever forget that Jesus Christ is our biggest cheerleader.

We have so many great rewards waiting for us. Even if I didn’t get one reward, as long as I can see Jesus I don’t really care about what people think of me. I am bought for a price.

Years ago the lord told me to do his will or die. I will succeed because I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
