Sherburne County awards bid for CSAH 28 road project in Baldwin Township

A bid has been awarded for a road project in northeastern Sherburne County.

On Feb. 6, the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners approved the lowest responsive bidder, Knife River Corporation—North Central, for the reconstruction of County State Aid Highway 28 from County State Aid Highway 19 to the east county line in Baldwin Township.

Knife River’s bid was $1,135,465, the lowest of 13 bids submitted. High bid was $1,770,790.

Project construction dates will be contracted from Feb. 26, 2024, through Aug. 11, 2024, according to a county memo.
