Grammy Gift Lounge: Luxury, Inclusivity, and Philanthropy
2024-02-11
For the past 25 years, Los Angeles-based entertainment marketing company Distinctive Assets has partnered with the Recording Academy to produce the officialGrammys gift lounge.
“It has been a privilege and honour to have been a small part of music’s biggest night for 25 years," enthused Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary. Grammy presenters and performers took home impressive gift bags valued at $36,000 each.
Many brands that were included in the gifting are female-owned, minority-owned or family-owned — something Fary truly loves to see.
"I believe our gifts are so well received, because they range from functional to fabulous while embracing inclusivity and philanthropy. Our signature Grammy Gifts have become an anticipated perk for talent, and I was particularly excited to share what we’ve curated this year.”
The gift bags also featured vouchers for a private performance by mentalist Carl Christman (valued at $25,000) and a personal sleep consultation with a neuroscientist and sleep expert at Wesper, as well as Dyson Zone headphones.
"What’s interesting is that I never really know how it’s going to all come together until sort of the final swing of this when the products start arriving!" Fary quipped.
Savvy interior designer turned sustainable entrepreuner Cate Brown luxury throw pillows was thrilled to be debuting her luxury toss pillows at the awards event.
"We work with weathy New York and Hamptons clientele, using end-cycle heritage fashion textiles and couture off cuts, (from designers like Chanel, Burberry, Oscar de la Renta, Hermes, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen etc.) using vintage mink, leathers and recycled silks to create the pillows. It's truly an honor to be participating!"
