Repurposing a historic 1941 furniture store, the Highwater Café & Market opened their doors for the first time on January 20th, 2024. Spearheaded by owner Jill Nelson, the property now boasts a vibrant ground floor with a café and market, complemented by private co-working offices in the loft above.

Operating daily from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, the café is not just a quick lunch or breakfast stop but a communal space. With an assortment of beverages and breakfasts in the morning (7am-11am), followed by lunch options (11 am – 5 pm) such as soups, salads, and sandwiches, the café is always ready to serve. The seating arrangements are designed to accommodate a solo visit, group lunches, or important business meetings.

Above the cappuccinos and croissants, the Highwater Offices provides workspaces with options like Co-working Space Memberships, Private Offices, and Conference Room rentals. These spaces come complete with security, internet access, janitorial services, and more. The Highwater Offices provide a separate entrance, ensuring a professional setting detached from the café's activity. Though, if needed the café is always ready to provide that all-too necessary caffeine boost.

Bringing over 20 years of entrepreneurial success to Reedsport, Nelson is hoping to provide a pleasant experience at the café, as well as full business services to Reedsport’s burgeoning entrepreneurs. She invites everyone to explore the Highwater Café & Market and the Highwater Offices, not as customers but as fellow community members.

“I’m really excited to be a part of the community of Reedsport. The town has been incredibly supportive and gracious with our opening. I love it here and the surrounding area is just so beautiful... I felt the downtown area was missing a gathering spot, and thankfully the town has responded really positively,” Said Nelson

The Reedsport Main Street Program and representatives from City Hall were on hand for the opening to extend a warm welcome to Nelson and her team. For those curious about what's brewing, details about the offerings and services are available on the official website at www.highwateroffices.com.
