The homeowner immediately took Onyx to an emergency veterinary clinic, where the cost of treatment was quoted at over $5,000. Due to financial constraints, the homeowner was unable to afford the full cost of care, and Onyx was subsequently released. Community members with suggestions or resources to help Onyx are encouraged to come forward with their ideas.
