Northwest Valley Connect (NVC) is now accepting new riders for free, door-to-door transportation in Sun City, Sun City West, Peoria and Surprise. Rides are available to medical appointments, senior centers, grocery shopping, hairdresser, etc.

For the past ten years, NVC has provided more than 100,000 rides throughout the northwest valley and is the only nonprofit service that provides door-to-door pickup and delivery. With both paid staff and volunteers, wheelchair accessible vans and volunteers’ vehicles, the transportation offered helps reduce social isolation, increase social determinants of health and get people where they need to go.

This spring, NVC will begin offering bi-monthly outings to area attractions, coffee gatherings and lunches. There will be a reasonable fee associated with each outing.

NVC is currently recruiting volunteer drivers to help fulfill its mission to improve and enhance the quality of life through dependable and reliable transportation. Drivers are able to choose when, where and how often they volunteer. They must have a clean driving record, up-to-date automobile insurance, ability to pass a background check and DPS fingerprint clearance ($98 fee is reimbursable).

To enroll, volunteer, or give visit NorthwestValleyConnect.org or call 623.282.9300.
