“The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” - Season 1

    (AMC/AMC+ — Feb. 25, Series Premiere)

Adding the ever-expanding TWD universe, this new horror drama spinoff series follows the love story between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira), changed by a world that is constantly shifting. Will they find themselves in a war against the living? Or will they discover that they, too, are The Walking Dead? Pollyanna McIntosh, Frankie Quinones and Lesley-Ann Brandt also star.

    “Shogun”

    (FX/Hulu — Feb. 27, Miniseries Premiere)

An original adaptation of James Clavell’s bestselling novel, this FX series is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a century-defining civil war. Lord Yoshii Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada) is fighting for his life as his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him. When a marooned European ship is found in a nearby fishing village, its English pilot, John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis), comes bearing secrets that could help Toranaga tip the scales of power in his favor. Meanwhile, Toranaga’s and Blackthorne’s fates become inextricably tied to their translator, Toda Mariko (Anna Sawai), a mysterious Christian noblewoman.
