Palisades Tahoe - Wish we knew these details before going!

Headed to Palisades Tahoe? Here's some tips before you go! If you are considering skiing/boarding more than 3 days, I strongly suggest you buy the Ikon Pass vs a  day pass. Lift ticket prices are absolutely wild, and the pass is more cost effective! If you are driving to this area, be prepared to either have a 4 wheel drive or carry chains! They have a chain requirement during the winter months (can go in effect at random times during winter storms) & basically the Highway Patrol will stop you from driving the highways! The weekends get absolutely CRAZY busy on the mountain! So if you can go during the week, do it! Also, download the Palisades app immediately! Game changer for sure!
