Los Angeles, CA - As the city continues to recover from the aftermath of early February storms, Los Angeles has taken a proactive step in aiding its residents. In response to the recent weather challenges, three Local Assistance Centers (LACs) have been established across the city to provide essential support to homeowners, renters, and business owners who have been affected by the inclement weather.

These centers are designed to serve as comprehensive hubs where Angelenos can access a wide array of recovery services and assistance from various government agencies and nonprofits. The aim is to streamline the process of seeking aid and guidance during this challenging time, offering a one-stop solution for those grappling with the impacts of the storms.

Each of the LACs will operate for a single day, providing ample opportunity for individuals to seek the help they need. The locations and opening hours are as follows:

South Los Angeles Sports Activity Center Located at 7020 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, California 90003, this center will be open on Friday from noon to 8 p.m.

Pan Pacific Senior Activity Center: Situated at 141 S. Gardner St., Los Angeles, California 90036, this center will open its doors on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Additionally, an LAC was inaugurated at the Mid-Valley Senior Citizen Center in Panorama City on Thursday, further extending the reach of assistance to storm-impacted individuals.

The establishment of these centers underscores the city's commitment to supporting its residents during times of adversity. By providing accessible and centralized resources, Los Angeles aims to facilitate the recovery process and alleviate the burdens faced by those affected by the recent storms.

Despite the challenges posed by the recent weather events, the resilience and solidarity of the Los Angeles community shine through as neighbors come together to support one another. As the city braces for potential future storms, these Local Assistance Centers stand as beacons of hope and support, ensuring that no one is left behind in the path to recovery.
