Cobb County Under Fire Warning

Residents in Cobb County are under warning of high fire danger from the National Weather Service.

Citizens are being asked to refer to local burn permitting authorities before igniting anything outdoors and to proceed with extreme caution.

The warning will last through 7 p.m. Tuesday, and is the result of low humidity and light winds.

Tuesday will see a high of 60 degrees, with partly cloudy skies and a chance of rain in the late morning.

Sunny skies and mild temperatures are expected in Cobb throughout the rest of the week, with a chance of thunderstorms in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Residents can expect a clear and sunny weekend, with a high of 67 degrees on Sunday.
