"You Look So Good In Love" by George Strait

This first song was recorded by George Strait and was the first single off the album Right or Wrong . "You Look So Good in Love" was among Strait's debut music videos, however the King of Country was not a fan of the "romantic and slow" feel. Strait ended up disdaining it and not doing another music video for quite some time. "You Look So Good in Love" was just another chart-topper in Strait's meteoric rise to fame and was his third number one hit.

"If You're Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have A Fiddle In The Band)" by Alabama

This catchy Lone Star State tune was the 14th consecutive chart-topper for Alabama. The hit song was an ode to Texas musician, Bob Wills, with a chorus reference to his song " Faded Love." Texans have used it as an anthem and a song of pride for the last 40 years. Sen. Ted Cruz (TX) even used it in a campaign ad, "If You Are Gonna Run In Texas" for his 2018 theme song.

"Why Not Me" by The Judds

The Judds were made up of talented mother and daughter duo, Wynonna and Naomi Judd. These incredible women were a staple in country music for decades. Wynonna still carries on the legacy and performs today. Their song "Why Not Me", was their second number one hit and spent many weeks on the Billboard Top 100 chart. This song was covered by The Voice Season 9 finalist Emily Roberts.

"The Yellow Rose" by Johnny Lee And Lane Brody

This song was based on the known "Yellow Rose of Texas" and was made for the NBC television show on called The Yellow Rose . It was a chart-topping hit and was Lee's fourth of five number one hits on the country Billboard charts. Oddly enough, it was Brody's only number one hit in her career.
