On top of letting fans down, the rivalry between Oasis ' estranged Gallagher brothers apparently has seen its fair share of monetary consequences as well, as younger sibling Liam Gallagher recently revealed that a reunion tour offer was put on the table, but big brother Noel refused.

Though older brother Noel Gallagher has admitted in the past to being open to an Oasis reunion with a hologram version of his estranged brother , Liam , it seems even if his "people" get in touch with an offer of a ton of cash, he's still not showing much interest.

Speaking with MOJO , Liam explained that after going back-and-forth annoying each other on social media and in interviews for years, he attempted to mend the fence as best he could by trying to get their respective reps to consider a major offer to hit the road in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe .

“I did call him! Well, my people called Noel’s management team,” Liam explained. “We put an offer on the table for an Oasis thing -- because we got offered it -- and he said no. It was a big tour, a lot of money. He turned it down. I get it, he’s got a divorce going down. I’ll do the 'Definitely Maybe' thing and have a nice time without him.”

Up for eligibility for the first time this year, Oasis' Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination would add a whole lot of weight to an official reunion in 2024, but unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be in the cards. 2025, of course, is a whole other year with another amazing album -- What's The Story (Morning Glory)? -- that will need celebrating, and Liam has already penned it in. “Me, I love nostalgia though. I’m doing the lot,” he admitted. Whether or not Noel gets involved is beyond his control. “It’s down to the universe," he says. "It’ll happen when it happens, it’s not in our hands anymore."

Liam Gallagher is hitting the road this year with Stone Roses guitarist John Squire to support their joint, self-titled album set for release on March 1, though Gallagher told the U.K.’s Radio X that fans should not expect to hear any of their former groups’ music in the setlists. “Nah, not doing any of that. It’s gonna be just this album and maybe a few covers that we might get round to doing, but it won’t be our other bands and that, ‘cause that’s naff,” he explained.

There's another time and place for that, namely Liam's planned 30th anniversary Definitely Maybe concerts, definitely happening this summer without Noel.
