    Dripping Springs hosts 29th Annual Tiger Relays

    DRIPPING SPRINGS  — The Dripping Springs Tigers hosted their 29th Annual Tiger Relays on Saturday, Feb. 17, with 11 area schools competing. The meet was delayed by one hour due to the windy conditions and frigid temperatures. However, the morning weather conditions did not deter parents and fans from sitting in the stands and supporting their athletes. The Tigers Varsity Boys finished in third place with 74 points, Johnson High School Jaguars took second place with 95 points and the winner was Round Rock High School with 148.67 points. The Tigers Varsity Girls also finished in third place with 97 points, Austin Vandegrift High School finished in second place with 102 points and the winner was Round Rock High School with 176 points. The Tigers will travel to Johnson High School on Friday, Feb. 23. Field events will begin at 8 a.m. and running events will begin at 11:30 a.m.
