Foodie Favorites at Fiesta Mexicana

For authentic Mexican cuisine right near the beach, nothing beats the friendly atmosphere and entrancing live music of Fiesta Mexicana. Located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Fiesta Mexicana offers live music daily, karaoke on Fridays, and a massive bar with superb spirits to accompany any dish on their stellar lineup.

The menu is both vibrant and very neatly organized, starting with appetizers and a la carte as one expects, then a full page dedicated to vegetarian options, specialty fajitas and combination plates, then focus shifts specifically to proteins per page: chicken, beef, etc. One additional standout page is the Dinner Specials, a solid selection of Mexican classics and plates distinct to Fiesta Mexicana alike.

The Burrito Jalisco from the Dinner Specials comes with diner’s choice of meat between carnitas, carne asada, al pastor, or grilled chicken, with beans, lettuce, Mexican style rice, queso, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream to finish things off in the massively tasty creation, and features seasoned fries for a unique side.

The chimichangas come in pairs, of the diner's choice between beef or chicken, with ranchero cheese sauce on top for a smooth and creamy finish (though the ones served also seem to have what appears to be their red sauce - nonetheless, still delicious). The sides of rice and refried beans both tasted superb, and the portions, quite generous.

Make sure to check out the Parrilada Mexicana or the Fiesta Mexicana Special on date night as both plates serve two, or go for the amazing table side guacamole any night, which is prepared expertly right there next to one’s table. No matter the meal, one will always enjoy themselves in the festive and friendly ambience.
