Smino on headlining the St. Louis CITY SC Block Party and more

Ahead of taking the stage to headline the St. Louis CITY SC Block Party , Smino stopped by for a chat with Audacy and Hot 104.1’s Shae Bae .

Excited about his upcoming performance, Smino shared the thought process that went into handpicking other St. Louis performers he wanted to perform with. Noting it was “tough” to pick, Smino explained, “we just wanted to have a lot of diversity. We got Punk Rock, we got Country music, we got some lyrically radical rappers, we got some painters, y’know visual artists, y’know we wanted to switch it all up.”

Smino also discussed his fashion choice, got into whether or not he actually cut his hair — clarifying that Drake diss was “a joke,”  and hyped up his upcoming Kribmas performance, plus more.
