A saddle pulmonary embolism is “a life-threatening condition characterized by a large blood clot that lodges at the bifurcation of the pulmonary artery, obstructing blood flow to both lungs,” according to Yale Medicine .

Born in New York in 1963, Driscoll studied acting at the University of Miami, and was part of the apprenticeship program at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in North Palm Beach, Florida. He studied with industry giants such as Reynolds and Carol Burnett.

Richard Lewis was the king of comic kvetching and self-deprecating humor

He went on on to appear in several projects with Reynolds, who died at age 82 in 2018 — such as the 1989 films “Physical Evidence” and “Breaking In” and the ’90s TV shows, “B.L. Stryker” and “Evening Shade.”

Driscoll also appeared in a slew of hit shows, including “Desperate Housewives,” “Days of Our Lives,” “Heroes,” “24,” “CSI: Miami” and “The King of Queens.”
