Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley savaged former President Donald Trump , the GOP presumptive nominee, ahead of the Michigan primary on Tuesday.

Haley spoke to the Wall Street Journal and pulled no punches in describing how dangerous she believed Trump’s march to the GOP presidential nomination was. “You have to see the writing on the wall, you have to see the hole in the ship and if you don’t see the hole in the ship, we’re all going to go down,” she said.

Trump has won the first four nominating contests, including a 60-40 victory over Haley in her home state of South Carolina over the weekend.

“This may be his survival mode to pay his legal fees and get out of some sort of legal peril, but this is like suicide for our country,” Haley told the Rupert Murdoch-owned publication. “We’ve got to realize that if we don’t have someone who can win a general election, all we are doing is caving to the socialist left.”

In recent weeks, Haley has been slamming Trump for using campaign donors to pay his legal fees, which included over $50 million last year. Haley has also attacked Trump for trying to install his daughter-in-law at the Republican National Committee, which she alleges the Trumps will hollow out for cash.

Haley also discussed the potential nearing end of her campaign with the Journal.

“I’m doing what I think is right. I’m doing what I believe 70% of Americans want me to do,” Haley said when asked about Trump’s commanding lead.

Haley noted in a recent campaign speech that Trump is consistently losing a big chunk of GOP voters. “He’s not going to get the 40% by calling them names. He’s not going to get the 40% if he is not willing to change and do something that acknowledges the 40%. And why should the 40% have to cave to him?”

Haley also swatted down any notion she might run on a third-party ticket. “I have not spoken with anyone about anything other than running as a Republican. I’m running in a Republican primary and I’m going to continue running in a Republican primary.”
