Elizabeth Possi represents Stingrays at 10-under State championships

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. — Elizabeth Possi represented the M&M Stingrays swimming team at the Wisconsin age 10-and-under State championships in Ashwaubenon over the weekend.

Possi (8) competed in five events and came away with three top-10 finishes, with her best result coming in the 25-yard backstroke, where Possi placed sixth overall in 19.52 seconds.

Possi’s fastest time came in the 25-yard freestyle, where she swam a 17.32 to place 21st overall.

Possi took home seventh place in the 50-yard backstroke (42.47), tenth in the 50-yard freestyle (36.51) and eleventh in the 100-yard individual medley (1:37.38).

Possi also managed to record a new personal-best time in four of the five events, with her biggest improvement coming in the 100 IM, where she trimmed 3.82 seconds off her prior P.B.
