J.M. Biggs: Discover what Jesus wants from us

It is only by the mercy of God that we are still alive and in our right minds. A lot of us have been through so much through the years and have seen a lot of things. While you are reading this, you’re probably thinking about some of the bad things that happened in your life or some of the greatest things. No matter what, good or bad, we can all say the Lord has been so good.

Sometimes when I’m sitting alone meditating on the Lord, I wonder why the church doesn’t love him as they should, To think — everyone should be burning in hell right now. We were all born into sin. No one had to teach us.

I look at this world now, remembering back how it used to be just a few years ago. Our prisons are filled with young men and women, some of whom will spend the rest of their lives there. Neither the sinnerman nor the church has any clue of what’s going on in this country. It has slowly been transformed into a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah.

Actually, it is a whole lot worse. Everyone who has been to church or has read the Bible knows what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. God judged it with a great destruction. That is exactly what this country is facing. I have never seen so much evil in one place.

I look at everyone walking around just as if everything’s OK.

All the Lord wants from us is to love him and to obey him. It’s that simple. I don’t think that is too much to ask from someone who died for us. He was literally tortured for our sins. We owe him everything. It is why we were created — just to serve God.

I guess you first have to believe that you were created by him. Our heavenly father has watched us get worse and worse. Even his church is guilty to the point that they don’t believe anything will happen to them. Some have even given up on Jesus coming back.

Oh, but judgment has fallen on the house of God. It will be very painful. Before this year is over, a lot of people are going to want to give up on life.

Please don’t give up. Jesus loves you too much. Just give everything to him. No matter what’s happening around you, he will give you peace. Please hear what I’m telling you. Terrible things are happening in this country. But you have not seen anything yet. It will get very, very bad.

Lastly, I want to say this to God’s church: The world is depending on us. Without us, they will be lost. We can no longer try to satisfy our appetites for the things of this world.

How long will we live for the pleasures of our hearts? Jesus is getting ready to come back. So many souls will be lost. Even a portion of God’s church is in a backslidden state. Sometimes I wonder what it will take for God’s church to change. Remember, if you don’t want him, he does not want you. But you can rest assured of one thing. Judgment is coming.
