Two Dutchess County men are facing attempted murder charges for a shooting and stabbing incident that authorities believe could be related.

The Dutchess County District Attorney's Office says the incidents happened at 52 South Quaker Hill Road in Pawling on Saturday.

Police report that Giuseppe Vassallo stabbed a victim with a knife several times. Investigators also allege that another suspect, John Sorrel, repeatedly fired a semi-automatic rifle at several people.

Both suspects are currently in custody without bail.
