MENOMINEE — Four members of the Menominee girls basketball team collected All-Conference honors as the Great Northern Conference unveiled its All-GNC selections on Friday.
Senior Anna Axtell was chosen as Co-Defensive Player of the Year alongside Escanaba’s Keira Maki in addition to garnering First Team All-Conference recognition.
Sophomore Gianna Coduti seized one of the five spots on the All-GNC Second Team, while senior Kam Olson and sophomore Lexi Marineau both received Honorable Mention.
Gladstone’s Lillie Johnson took home Player of the Year and was one of five players to receive a spot on the GNC All-Defensive team.
Andy Cretens was voted Coach of the Year after the Braves finished atop the GNC standings at 6-2.
