President Joe Biden took his first loss of the Democratic presidential campaign, losing American Samoa on Super Tuesday to someone named Jason Palmer .

During Fox News’ primetime election coverage, host Bret Baier informed viewers of the results of the caucuses in American Samoa, a small U.S. territory in the South Pacific with a population of about 45,000.

“We just have a call now in American Samoa,” he said. “President Biden will lose to Jason Palmer, a self-described entrepreneur and investor.”

As Baier spoke, his fellow panelists emitted chuckles of disbelief.

“He is going to win the American Samoa Democratic caucus,” he continued. “This marks President Biden’s first loss in the 2024 primaries. Palmer takes four delegates. President Biden takes two.”

Baier, who is steeped in U.S. politics, confessed, “I don’t even know who Jason Palmer is. But he is now the winner.”

“I’m sure that President Biden has spent an enormous amount of time in American Samoa working on his election,” cracked Martha MacCallum .

Beyond the hiccup in American Samoa, which has no electoral votes in the general election because it is not a state or Washington, D.C., Biden ran the table on Super Tuesday by winning all 15 states in play. His last non-Jason Palmer challenger is Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), who has failed to gain traction.

Biden will likely face former President Donald Trump in a rematch, as Trump also won big on Tuesday night.
